Maple Glazed Vanilla Walnut Rugelach

A delicious spin on a Jewish classic

Ingredients


For The Dough:

Any rugelach dough recipe you like 

(I like the one in the Bais Yaakov cookbook.)


Drizzle of Maple syrup


For the Crumble:

2 cups confectioners' sugar

1 Tbsp. vanilla sugar

1 cup chopped walnuts


For the Glaze:

2 cups confectioners' sugar

4 Tbsp. maple syrup

1/4 cup Toffuti cream cheese



Directions


Roll out your dough into a circle.

Brush with a layer of maple syrup.

Mix confectioners' sugar and vanilla sugar.

Sprinkle sugar mixture over maple syrup.

Sprinkle chopped walnuts. 

Cut into 12­-16 triangles and roll each one from the outside in.

Bake at 350° for 18-20 minutes.

Set aside rugelach to cool.


For the Glaze:

Mix all ingredients until combined.

Drizzle glaze over rugelach.
